Hi there and welcome!

My name is Aaron Camp They/Them
and I'm a psychospiritual counselor.

I work with people who desire to heal their trauma and addiction, awaken to their essential nature, and express their gifts in the world.

I know what it's like to feel endlessly swallowed by the black hole of your own trauma, addiction, and unhealed pain. We are a team and work collaboratively to foster innate processes of healing and awakening that are already moving within you. I integrate psychology, trauma healing modalities, energy work, yoga, and nondual meditation to cultivate a space where you can find rest and return to your essential being.

I am on my own healing and awakening journey. I live at the intersection of trauma, addiction, social identity, energy body awakening, shifts in consciousness, and being a highly sensitive person. Do you relate to any of that?

This is my calling. None of us should have to walk our healing and awakening paths alone.

Let's journey together.

FAQ

  • A psychospiritual counselor is someone who holds the physical, psychological, and spiritual aspects of one's being together in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment. Many people find that counselors trained in western psychology do not have the experience, skills, or care to include their deep spirituality in therapy, often to their detriment. As someone whose spirituality pervades every aspect of their life, I understand the importance of including it throughout the entirety of the therapeutic process.

  • My credentials are:

    • B.A. in psychology, University of Northern Colorado.

    • M.A. in clinical mental health counseling, Regis University.

    • Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate (LPCC), state of Colorado, USA.

    • Extensive post-graduate training in treating shock, complex, generational, and cultural trauma with Internal family systems (IFS), The Comprehensive Resource Model (CRM), Deep Brain Reorienting (DBR), and online trainings with Thomas Hübl.

    • Graduate of a 9-month global mentorship program with Mariana Caplan on the intersection and integration of psychology, spirituality, psychedelics, student-teacher dynamics, and spiritual community dynamics.

    • 3-month training in Kundalini Hatha Yoga level I and Meditation level I & II with Trika Mahasiddha Yoga (TMY).

    • Ongoing student of Craig Holliday, who is a therapist, spiritual teacher, and kundalini guide.

  • It depends! For those people coming for dedicated trauma processing, I recommend weekly sessions or twice a month at a minimum. For those coming to address any other issues, we will establish a frequency that is appropriate for you. It can also change throughout the counseling process as things improve in your life or you find that you need more support.

  • I do not accept insurance, but I am willing to work with your financial situation to the best of my ability.

  • I take payment through Paypal, which is easy to use and integrated with my online scheduling calendar.

  • I ask for a minimum of 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule your appointment. If you cancel within 24 hours or do not show up for your appointment, you are financially responsible for the full fee of the session. I understand that life happens and will take emergencies into account. Most of all, I value communication. If you make the effort to communicate with me, I will work with you regarding scheduling and cancellation.
